Description
Thyme honey is one of the best-known honeys in Morocco, recognisable by its fairly dark colour, intense taste and the aroma of wild thyme. You see it in our countryside videos, at breakfast with beldi bread and oil.
How to use it
- At breakfast with bread, baghrir or msemen.
- A spoonful in a glass of lukewarm water or herbal tea.
- In Moroccan pastries and recipes.
Storage
In a dry place away from the sun, not in the fridge. Pure honey can crystallise in the cold: that is natural.
Note: honey must not be given to babies under one year old.
