Bohemian Kitchen at our home: a Moroccan family cooking experience in Agadir (and how to book it)
· 1 min read
One of the most beautiful moments on our channel was the visit of Mino and Amina, the Korean YouTubers of Bohemian Kitchen. They came to our home in Agadir, wore traditional clothes, kneaded bread with mom and tasted Amazigh food for the first time in their lives. More than 400,000 people have watched the video.
How the experience went
Welcome: mint tea, amlou and beldi bread, like any guest entering a Moroccan home.
The dough: mom taught Mino to knead bread in the clay dish, and there was a lot of laughter!
The tagine: we showed them the spices, the vegetables and how to assemble a tagine.
The table: couscous and Amazigh dishes, and a warm family meal.
After these videos, many viewers asked if they could visit us. It is now an official experience on Airbnb: beldi bread baked in the clay oven, tagine, pastilla or couscous, tea and amlou, and lunch with the family.
A traditional Moroccan breakfast as we live it in the countryside: homemade bread, olive oil, pure honey, amlou and mint tea. Tips to recreate it at home, plus a video from our family.
